RULES & REGULATIONS FOR TRANSPORT SERVICES
FOR MILLENNIUM LEARNING CENTER’s Students
All rights of transport services provided are reserved with Edjunct Educational Services LLP, hereinafter referred to as the transport provider.
1. The submission of request does not guarantee provision of transport.
2. Change of address mid-year may result in cancellation of the transport facility. You accept the rule as is, and will not demand any special concessions.
3. Availing the transport program is optional & you wish to avail of the transport program provided by the transport provider at my own free will.
4. The charges structure for the program and agree to avail of transport, and pay charges for the same.
5. The transport service is exempted from GST etc. as of today. However, if the GST etc. becomes applicable during the financial year then the same will be borne by me. This even applies to any advance charges paid too.
The above tax or any changes therein, shall be borne by me entirely.
This will be over and above the charges that are charged, unless otherwise specifically mentioned.
6. The charges will be collected on a bi-annual or annual basis.
7. Any defaulting of payments will result in either late charges being levied or immediate discontinuation of the transport services being provided.
8. Please note that written application is necessary for cancellation of transport facility and/or admission. Refund will be processed as per the date of received application. Parent have to claim refund within 15 days from the day of cancellation of facility. Refund will be given only if excess payment is made over and above applicable transport charges. In case of cancellation following charges are applicable and the outstanding amount is to be paid, in case the payment done is less that these charges.

a. Before 31-05-2026 - Processing fees.
b. 01-06-2026 to 30-06-2026 - 25% of yearly transport charges.
c. 01-07-2026 to 31-08-2026 - 50% of yearly transport charges.
d. 01-09-2026 to 30-11-2026 - 75% of yearly transport charges.
e. After 30-11-2026 - 100% of yearly transport charges.
9. Extra transportation fees will be charged if the transport point is beyond 8 kilometers. That information will be communicated around November and will have to be paid shortly thereafter. Please confirm the same from the transport coordinator in case of discrepancies.
10. Strict action will be taken for damaging the property of the transport provider.
11. Pickup and drop off points communicated to me by the transport provider.
The following rules and terms that must be followed in order to avail of the transport facility:
a) The pickup and drop off point of the ward is fixed by the transport provider and there will be no change in it. Any change will be done only after the approval by the transport provider.
b) If there are any change of addresses in between the academic year, continuation of transport service cannot be guaranteed. In such cases the transport fee cannot be refunded.
c) Pickup and drop address, if different, shall be considered ONLY if they fall in that same bus route. A student cannot be accommodated on two different routes (for pick up and drop off)
d) The cost for damages to the buses done by the students will be borne by the parents.
e) The transport authority can terminate the transport service of the students who cause trouble to other students or staff in the vehicle in spite of 3 repeated warnings and notifications.
f) Arguments, if any, regarding the route or any timing issues or behaviour of the driver and attendant with the driver/attendant/students in the bus should be taken up with the designated transport authority directly / transport committee.
g) The driver/attendant has been instructed not to take the student in the bus if he/she is not in proper school uniform which constitutes the ID-card as well. Please co-operate and make sure the child is in complete school uniform and do not argue with the driver.
h) The transport provider will not be responsible if a student forgets to collect his or her own belongings.
i) At the time of drop, an adult is expected to be present at the bus stop, with the valid Parent ID card. If no one is present to pick up the child/ is without valid Parent ID card, the student will be brought back to school and will have to be picked up by the guardian from the school itself.
j) Student must be present at the stop for pick up at least 10 minutes before official arrival time. The driver has been instructed not to sound the horn and not to wait.
k) Any vehicle from the fleet available to the transport provider will be used for pick up or drop off. A certain vehicle only cannot be guaranteed. In case a vehicle or driver not belonging to the fleet of the transport provider is called, then an authority letter will be given to that driver for identification.
l) While utmost safety precautions are taken and regulations are followed, mishaps may occur. I understand the risk that comes with road transport when I send my children in the vehicles of the transport provider.
m) In case a child gets off from the bus without permission of attendant/driver, the transport provider will not be responsible.
n) The transport provider will not be responsible for any child who does not ascend the vehicle either from the pick-up location or the drop location.
o) The student shall remain seated while the bus is in motion and shall not extend hands, head, or any body part outside the bus.
p) The student shall not carry any items in the school bus unless specifically instructed by the school. This includes, but is not limited to, food items, crackers, sharp objects (such as knives), mobile phones, or any other prohibited materials.
q) The student shall maintain proper discipline in the bus and shall not engage in any form of bullying, misbehaviour, or harassment towards fellow students. Any form of bullying, harassment, or misbehaviour towards other students in the bus will not be tolerated and may lead to disciplinary action including suspension of the transport facility.
r) Throwing any items or waste outside the bus is strictly prohibited.
s) Students must maintain discipline in the bus. Constant loud noise or shouting is not permitted.
t) Parents/guardians acknowledge that the school bus will follow the scheduled timing and route, and the bus will not be delayed if the student reports late at the designated stop.
u) The school/transport provider shall not be responsible for students before boarding or after alighting from the bus.
v) The decision of the transport provider will be final in all cases.
